Hi I go by the username Innocence_Ends on the Skyblock server and just wanted to give some feedback on the donor ranks. I'm unaware of the cost of the maintenance for the server if its being hosted from a personal computer or third-party. However I find the ranks to be a bit pricey for the average player considering it goes by increments of $15 for just an additional command or two and some disguises/pets that wont be used often.
I was hoping to get an explanation to this pricing as its a bit out of reach especially for those who are on another person's dime such as under 18 living with their parents but also for those who work at minimum wage and use your server in their free time. I myself was excited about supporting the server but not willing to pay a whole days worth of money just to be able to use color on items and colorful nicknames. I understand you get the prior tiers when buying it but just for the use of a command like /nick or /hat or using font commands but seeing as you don't need these commands but want the availability of it for enjoyment its still quite out there in terms of purchasing. I myself could see doing $10 increments and maybe swapping some commands around to fit the price range would be a good choice. Bringing in more purchases/donations and less bulk payments making more on average then you do when one person puts down $30 just to put colors on signs and wear an emerald block as a hat as an example.
Would like to hear more on this or people's general opinions. I expect to hear some rebuttals from those who have already spent the money on the ranks but seeing as it would be just the same as any game/item going on sale over time it can happen just the same with these ranks.
